Our Mission...

...to build and grow a working drilling rig Museum that will reflect the history of natural gas development in Haldimand-Norfolk and southern Ontario. We will use the knowledge, experience and skills of our members to acquire, restore, display and operate historical gas industry equipment; to preserve artifacts and documents and to research and further record the early history of the natural gas industry. Our working drilling rig and the learning centre that is growing up around it will be our gift of heritage to future generations.

...to go out into the community and raise awareness of the museum and all that we have to offer and by so doing educate the community and our youth about our valued past.

...to help the community to benefit from the rig and the collected artifacts and documents through on site tours and educational programs for groups, schools and individuals.
